John Wynn
In loving memory of John Wynn died May 17th 1907, aged 68. Also Arthur son of the above died May 19 1902 aged 30 years. Also Tom (sergeant 4th Yorks) youngest son of the above aged 36years accidentailly killed near Poperinche Sept 2nd 1919 interred at Lyssenhoek cemetery Also Elizabeth wife of the above John Wynn died Feb 10th 1933, aged 78. Also May Ciciely Robinson, died april 20th 1967, aged 91 years.
Captain John William Bell
In loving memory of Captain William Bell D.S.C. who died 22nd January 1932 aged 66. Also his wife Catherine died 21st June 1940 aged 76. Also Robbie younger son died 5th December 1906 and their daughter Violet Kathleen died 17th July 1956 aged 57 years. This man was a hero in the first world war and was the first person to sink a German boat
Baby Memorial
150 infants were buried in unmarked graves from 1937 till 1970.
Jack and Tom Shaw
Four fishermen lost their lives in 1933 while looking for mussels for bait. They were engrossed in the job and did not realise that their boat had come adrift from its moorings and all were drowned. They were brothers Tom and Jack Shaw Albert Wells and Frederick P. Lloyd. Their graves are stright up the main path in the old cemetery to the left hand side. The gravestone states "In loving memory of Jack aged 36 years and Tom Shaw aged 29 years, who were drowned in the Tees, March 13th 1933 with the epitaph "Some day we will understand." Treasured memories of Frederick P. Lloyd died Mardh 13th 1933, aged 17 years.
